Everything on the menu was not to my liking as I have a real dislike for seafood. I did, however, go to the restaurant with the attitude that I would try everything. The food we were served included;
- black olive, feta cheese, sun dried tomato bruschetta
- winter pansanella
- prawn, crayfish and avocado cocktail
- wild mushroom and truffle risotto balls
- pan Asian pork in baby gem cups
- sausage, black pudding and apple stuffing balls
- chilli fish cakes
- smoked salmon and citrus herb butter
Although I nibbled through them all none of them stood out as amazing starters. The one that I picked as my favourite was the wild mushroom and truffle risotto balls as I love risotto.
The concept of this night and the restaurant layout is really good. We have booked up for their infamous pudding club, which is the same concept but with puddings and takes place every first Monday of the month. It is so popular that it is booked up until March, so we have to wait until next year to sample their puddings.
Have you been? What were your thoughts?
