I've decided that for the 10 people that took part every week I am going to hold a little poll, the person that people think has produced the best manicures will win a prize! Please scroll down to see the collection of manicures and vote for your favourite!

Nail Art Weekly Project - Week 5

This is the last Nail Art Weekly Project! It's been so much fun creating themed manicures and seeing what everyone else has created. I can't believe it has gone by so quickly! I'm so pleased with the amount of people that have really committed to the project as they've all made it such a success and hopefully they've been inspired!

The last theme is Glitz and Glam! The sparklier the better! As I'd just bought Hey Baby from OPI's Gwen Stefani collection I wanted to incorporate this.

I underestimate how long manicures like this will take me but in the end I'm really pleased with the results. I may as well use the time while I'm young and free to do my nails! I used OPI - It's Frosty Outside for my pointing finger, Orly - Miss Conduct for my middle finger, and then OPI - Hey Baby for the others.

What do you think? Are these glitz and glam enough?

Nail Art Weekly Project - Week 4

Week 4 of the Nail Art Weekly Project already! Where have the weeks gone? This week's theme is the month you were born. As I was born in August I was going to try and do a summer theme manicure with lots of cute nail art but again I was super busy and had no patience. So I have followed suit of what a lot of the other girlies are doing and based my manicure on my birthstone, peridot.

In essence all I've done is found all the green polishes I have and stuck them in one manicure! I know that peridot is more of a yellowy green colour but I don't have anything like that so have gone with a light and dark green with some glitters.

It is the last week of the project next week so I hope you've enjoyed everyone's manicures!

Nail Art Weekly Project - Week 3

This week's theme is Valentines Day! I had planned an extravagant manicure with quite a bit of nail art but I've been super busy and only just got internet back in the house. So I've decided that this Valentines Day I will do something simple.

I used OPI - Got a date to-knight and Alpine snow to create this polka dot manicure. I know it's a bit simple but I think it is cute!

Nail Art Weekly Project - Week 2 - Breaking Bad Nail Art

The second theme of my Nail Art Weekly Project was a TV programme or a film. For this it had to be the TV programme that everyone raves about, including myself. This is Breaking Bad.

For those of you who watch this programme, you should recognise the different designs I've attempted. On my thumb I've painted white with Heisenberg outline, my index and middle finger are the two periodic symbols used in the show, my ring finger it painted yellow with a lab bottle and my pinky is supposed to symbolise the crystal meth with blue textured polish and darker blue sponged on.

Nail Art Weekly Project - Week 1

The first theme for the Nail Art Weekly Project is a piece of clothing. For this I went rummaging through my wardrobe to find something that I could not only recreate but that would look good on my nails. Here is a sheer black collared sleeveless top I bought from ASDA last year. I thought this would be great as I could recreate the flowers and the beaded effect.

Obviously I had to do a bit of planning... I even painted a swatch stick to make sure it would look good on my nails. Then on Friday night I sat down to create my nail art weekly manicure...

For this I used OPI - Lady in Black and Dare to Wear - Golden Doublet as well as a dotting tool from Avon to do the gold parts. I'm really pleased with how this manicure came out and although it doesn't look exactly like the top it still has the essence of it.
